Small Business Saturday - Support Local!

Small Business Saturday is the perfect opportunity to explore Wichita’s vibrant local scene and support the entrepreneurs who make our community special. From handcrafted goods and holiday markets to neighborhood boutiques, coffee shops, and family-owned restaurants, Wichita is full of unique places to shop and discover.
By choosing to spend locally, you’re helping strengthen Wichita’s economy, support jobs, and keep the heart of our city thriving. Whether you’re picking up holiday gifts, grabbing a bite to eat, or stopping into a local maker’s market, every purchase makes a difference.
The Delano District, Old Town District, Clifton Square, and Bradley Fair are just a few of my favorite areas to check out for amazing small businesses to support!

Wichita Tornadoes Explained: Should Families Be Worried in 2025?
Are tornadoes actually something families need to worry about in Wichita?
If you’ve ever thought about moving to Kansas, this is probably one of the first questions that comes to mind. In this week’s video, I break down what life in Wichita is really like during storm season, how often tornadoes happen, and what families here actually do to stay safe. I also share some personal experiences growing up in the area and why most locals barely think about tornadoes at all.
If you’ve ever wondered whether the weather here is a deal-breaker, this is a must-watch!
