Happy Fourth of July! 🎆 Whether you’re spending the day grilling with family, heading to a parade, or scouting out the perfect fireworks spot, I hope you’re soaking in all the good stuff that makes this holiday special.
Wichita and the surrounding towns are packed with things to do today—from morning ceremonies and small-town parades to big evening shows like Red, White & Boom and fireworks all across the metro. I’ve rounded up all the best options below so you can plan out the rest of your day.

Why the change?
The city’s aim is to improve turnover, fund parking lot and garage upkeep, add safety features like lighting and patrols, and support local businesses.
