Back-to-School Season Is Here!
It’s that time of year again—time to sharpen those pencils, grab new backpacks, and stock up on school supplies! Whether you're an early shopper or still soaking up summer, now's the perfect time to check those lists. Below are supply lists for Wichita and several surrounding districts to help you get started. Plus, if you're looking for support, there are several local events offering free school supplies and resources for families in need. Keep scrolling for everything you need to feel prepared for the school year ahead!
📚 Back-to-School Supply Lists Now Available
📍 Free Supply Pickups in Wichita & Nearby
Rock of Christ Church: Wednesday, August 14 at 6 PM (1406 W. 18th St.): parents can pick up needed school supplies at no cost.
Assistance League of Wichita partners with Wichita Public Schools throughout August to distribute backpacks, clothes, and supplies. Eligibility is coordinated through school social workers.
Patterson Legal Group Giveaway: August 27 from 5:30 PM at Sedgwick County Park (6501 W. 21st St. N.). Free backpacks and supplies—kids must attend with an adult.
Hope Wichita (in Newton): at 7 AM on Saturday, August 3 at the Chisholm Trail Center. No income check—just show up for free supplies.
