Chicken Craze!

Wichita showed up for chicken this week—literally. Fans were so excited for the grand opening of Raising Cane’s on Tuesday that some camped out overnight just to be among the first through the doors! The line stretched outside bright and early at their new location on S. Ridge Road, all for those golden chicken fingers, buttery Texas toast, and signature Cane’s sauce.

But the chicken party didn’t stop there—Golden Chick officially opened on Wednesday on S. Webb Road. Known for their crispy fried chicken, Southern-style tenders, and famous yeast rolls, this Texas-born chain made its Kansas debut in delicious fashion.
