Happy Good Friday! I hope you get to enjoy some time off with your family this Easter weekend. We’ve been busy over here with spring projects, and the girls had their first soccer games last weekend which was a lot of fun. March was also a record-breaking month for me with 15 families helped through the process of buying or selling their new home, and I’m seriously so thankful for the trust and support from you guys!

This week I’ve got some big local news with a new Dillons Marketplace potentially coming to one of the fastest-growing areas in Wichita, a full lineup of Easter weekend events for the family, and a new video breaking down what’s really going on in our housing market right now because it’s getting a little strange.

Big retail news is brewing in Wichita—and it’s a sign that growth on the northeast side of town isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Dillons has officially submitted plans for a new Marketplace location, marking what would be the company’s first new Wichita store in more than 10 years.

The proposed store is planned for the southeast corner of K-96 and Ridge Road, a rapidly developing area that continues to attract new businesses, housing, and commercial projects. If you’ve driven that corridor recently, you’ve probably noticed just how quickly things are expanding—and this project is another major piece of that puzzle.

It’s still early, so timelines and construction details haven’t been finalized just yet—but this is definitely one to keep an eye on. If approved, this future Dillons could quickly become a go-to hub for one of Wichita’s fastest-growing areas.
